The purpose of the Business Development Executive is to work towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company vision and values. The Business Development Executive establishes plans and strategies to increase the customer base and ensure continuity of their assigned territory. The Business Development Executive reaches out to customers, answers questions, provides information, identifies opportunities, nurture prospects and customers, and closes new business. Travels throughout designated territories in Los Angeles where you will meet with and attain new customers. Establish new clients through clod calls, setting up meetings and presentations. Attend networking mixers & trade shows.

Essential Job Functions

  • Promptly respond to customers and prospects questions and issues within one business day. Including, pricing, products and services, information, and process payments.
  • Promptly communicate issues and questions to the Sales Manager and product experts.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have five years of outside sales experience or equivalent in a comparable environment.
  • At least a high school education or equivalent in continuing education but prefer a college degree.
  • Must be reasonably knowledgeable about Windows, browsers, Microsoft Office, computers and other technology and grow their knowledge as needed.
  • Must have reasonable typing skills.
  • Ability to use our CRM tools.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to sit at the workstation and use computer for an extended period of time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with manager.
  • Draw an overall or individual training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.
  • Develop a wide variety of training methods.
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience as a training manager.
